Who we are

OrbitYatra is the pilgrimage unit of Shreeram Travels, a travels business based in Pune and owned by Mayuri Karwa. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Shreeram Travels, and "you" means the person who books.

What we provide

We are a cab service, not a tour operator. What you book is a car with a driver for the route you agree with us.

We do not arrange accommodation, meals, darshan passes, priests, poojas or guides. We have no link to any temple trust and cannot get you passes or a quicker place in a darshan queue. You book and pay for these yourself.

How booking works

Booking is done only on WhatsApp, at +91 90676 76369. There is no checkout, payment form or account on this website. A booking is confirmed when [[OWNER: what confirms a booking, e.g. written confirmation on WhatsApp and/or an advance payment]].

Fares and payment

• Fares are per car, not per person.
• The quoted fare covers the car, the driver and his allowance, fuel, tolls and parking, and the driver's night halt charges on multi-day trips.
• The fare is fixed when you book. We do not charge surge prices on any date.
• It changes only if you ask to add a stop that is off the agreed route. We quote any such change before the trip.

Timings and the route

The times in our itineraries are a guide, based on usual traffic and an ordinary darshan queue. Festivals, Mondays, Shravan, Mahashivratri and heavy monsoon rain can change them a great deal. Your driver will keep you informed through the day and may change the order of stops so each darshan fits.

If the weather means a circuit truly cannot be finished, we move your booking to another date without any charge.

Cancellation

Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup and there is no charge. Cancel less than 24 hours before pickup and we keep 10% of the total trip fare and refund the rest. The full details are in our cancellation policy.

Your part

• Give us the correct pickup address, travel date and number of passengers.
• Share where you are staying on multi-day trips, so the driver knows where to collect you.
